Roeper’s Ed Sack Wins 300th Soccer Game

Roeper’s soccer team opened up MHSAA District play on Thursday, October 13 when they defeated Southfield Manoogian 3-1 to improve to 10-7-2 on the season and advance to the District Semifinal on Monday, October 17 at Bishop Foley against the University of Liggett. The victory marked the 300th career soccer coaching win for Roeper Head Coach Ed Sack who also serves as the school’s athletic director. Coach Sack is the 10th coach in MHSAA history to reach this milestone in MHSAA history. The victory is another milestone in a fantastic coaching career that was highlighted with an MHSAA State Championship in 2014 when Roeper defeated Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 4-2 in the state final. Congratulations Ed on behalf of the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference on this terrific milestone and thank you for your commitment and service to high school athletics!
