MIAC’s own Tim Donnan from Southfield Christian was honored today as the Oakland County Athletic Director of the Year. Tim’s leadership has affected not only those that attend Southfield Christian but also those around the state. During Tim’s first 14 years at Southfield Christian his teams have found incredible success with 6 MHSAA State Championships and multiple individual State Championships. His impact at his school is not only viewed by the team successes but also by the culture of good sportsmanship he has created and expectations he demands from players, coaches, and parents. Tim has been a leader of the MIAC for the last 9 years as its chairperson. He received the Region 13 Athletic Director of the Year award in 2023, served as the Oakland County Athletic Director Assocation president last year bringing meaningful professional development to his peers, and has served on multiple state sport committees. It was a great day seeing his hard work and self-servant attitude gain recognition today. Congratulation Tim, the MIAC is proud to have you!
